AKA, a South African rapper, has died.

South African rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes was killed on Florida Road on Friday night, according to Durban police sources.
According to an IOL report, another person believed to be AKA’s bodyguard was also injured, and an unidentified person believed to be a close friend of AKA was also killed in the drive-by shooting.

According to IOL, AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting. Police in the province were yet to issue an official statement on the event.

Nelli Tembe, the fiancée of the late South African hip hop star AKA, died after falling from the 10th storey of a hotel just two years ago. The occurrence on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Pepperclub Hotel in Central Cape Town.
