Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, has spoken out about his invitation to the DSS office on Monday, saying it was difficult.
Fani-Kayode stated in a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday morning that he was interrogated by the DSS for six hours.
The former Aviation Minister said he was given bail by the security service and was instructed to return on Wednesday.
“It was quite an experience, and despite the fact that it was difficult, the panel that grilled me was friendly and professional.
“I was granted bail and will return on Wednesday,” he said.
He stated this.
Fani-Kayode expressed gratitude in his appreciation message.
recounts that the DSS invited the APC leader following a tweet in which he stated that the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, Atiku Abubakar, was reportedly organizing a coup d’etat after meeting with senior military officers.
“There are rumors that Atiku had a covert meeting with serving military generals in Abuja on Thursday.
“If accurate, it is alarming and has ramifications. What was the point? Why would a presidential contender hold secret meetings with soldiers 14 days before an election?
“Is this meeting part of a larger plan to disrupt the elections, destabilize the country, set us on fire, stir chaos and violence, precipitate a coup, and install a new and unconstitutional order in our beloved country under the auspices of the UN?”
