On Wednesday morning, President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.) met with All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to senior presidential sources, Buhari’s 40-minute delay in arriving to the Council Chambers to preside over this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting is due to a meeting at his official residence.
According to the PUNCH, Buhari arrived at the Council Chambers about 10:40 a.m., roughly an hour later than the regular time of 10:00 a.m.
This comes four days after the APC hosted a campaign rally in Abuja’s Eagle Square.
Although the cause for the meeting is unknown, it is most likely related to the APC’s campaign and the election which is only about 10 days
the election which is only about 10 days away.
