Popular Nigerian afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has broken his silence following the results of the 2023 presidential election.
In a post shared on his Instagram page to address Nigerians, the singer, who previously said he was a fool when campaigning for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos state, in 1999, noted that Nigerians wanted the lesser of three evils but it prevailed over the evils.
Seun wrote: “When you realize that all your actors, musicians, politicians, business executives, influencers, comedians are using your support and resources to become American and British citizens so their children do not exist with yours, you may have enough sense to stop letting them rule your life.You wanted the least of three evils, but you got the best.
