“This Can’t Be About the New Naira Notes,” says OAP Nedu.

Nedu Wazobia, an on-air TV personality, has reacted to the country’s continuous protests over a lack of cash.
Remember that in the previous two weeks, Nigerians have been experiencing a cash shortage due to ATMs not dispensing cash and POS workers asking outrageous charges to distribute cash.

Instead, Nigerians who are tired of suffering have resorted to the streets to protest the CBN’s cashless program.

In response, OAP Nedu maintained that the nonviolent protest is not over the scarcity of fresh naira notes.

According to him, the present protests are about more than just the new naira notes. He went on to say

“All these protests can’t be about the new naira notes. Nah
It’s something else. Something nefarious”.
