Nigeria is currently in a state of anarchy, with many concerns requiring immediate response, and President Buhari’s leadership remains ambiguous.
The ruling party, the APC, has been mired in internal conflict in recent weeks, with reports circulating that certain members are attempting to retain President Buhari in office.
There are also rumors that President Buhari is working against APC Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, instead backing fellow northerner Atiku to win the poll.
The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has yet to obtain the finances required to conduct the 2018 elections.
