Sky Bet Championship club Watford have revealed that former Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru will not play again this season.
Dele-Bashiru spent last season on loan at fellow Sky Bet Championship club Reading.
Instead, the Nigerian returned to Vicarage Road was injured.
The 23-year-old defender was part of Watford’s selection this season.
Dele-Bashiru recently suffered an ankle injury in practice and the Hornets were hoping he would return before the end of the season. “Tom Dele-Bashiru will miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season as he injured his ankle in training,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
He has made six league appearances for the London club this season.
