Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola chastised his players for missing “too many clear chances” in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
The Premier League champions squandered two points at the Forest Ground in a tense title race.
City took the lead through Bernardo Silva before Chris Wood equalized late on.
Keylor Navas had to deflect De Bruyne’s fizzing free-kick over the crossbar before Guardiola’s over-eager display of fury on the sidelines was punished with a yellow card.
“We have to look at ourselves – we can do better. Now, we blow far too many clear opportunities. It occurs from time to time,” Guardiola explained.
“I complained to the fourth official and received a well-deserved yellow card,” he explained.
